What are City Groups?
Outward facing families that gather regularly to worship, grow, pray, party, and serve. These groups share an inward and outward mission and service in the life of New Song Church.
Who are in City Groups?
15-25 people who meet in a house or public area. We expect the majority will be members or regular attenders of New Song. However, we want people to invite their neighbors, friends and families to City Groups. But our priority in regards church resources will be towards those who are members, regular attenders or in the direct outreach focus of New Song Church. Those who are members of other Christian churches are welcome but our resources and time will be invested on our members or those not members of other churches. We will also expect that certain services should be provided for by their home church and not New Song.
What about children?
We hope to have specific groups for families with children and help in finding childcare solutions where needed. However, we never want to deny someone the opportunity to be involved in a group because they have children. However, we do realize that families with children would often prefer to be in groups with other families with children.
